3D model description

This package contains 3 tools for multiple purposes:

  1. Tracing guide with center finder and 10cm measuring guide
  2. Center finder (simple model)
  3. Center finder for round and square poles

The Tracing guide with center finder and 10cm measuring guide

  • Draw a line in the exact center of a (max 10cm) wide item

  • The stepped portion on the side allows to precisely draw a point or line at a specific distance from the edge. The section indicated with | is the uneven side (0 to 19mm with 2mm steps); The section indicated with || is the even side (0 to 20mm with 2mm steps). Hold your pen in the indentation and draw the line while sliding the tool.

  • On the side a ruler is added to quickly measure a part. It allows you to measure up to 10cm with 0,5cm increments

Center finder (simple model)

  • It's the same model as above, but without the tracing part. This can be easier to store in a tool box or just as a spare.

Center finder for round and square poles

  • This model is a very handy tool to quickly determine the exact center of a round or square pole.

  • Round pole: hold the tool on the op with the 2 sides touching the pole. Draw a line next to the middle guide. Turn the tool about 45-50 degrees to any side (it does not have to be exact) and draw another line. The middle of the pole is the point where the 2 lines cross.

  • Square pole (it does need to be a square): Use the same method as the round pole, but now place the tool in at lease 2 corners to draw the line.

3D printing settings

  • Print on the back, with the 2 'tubes' upwards

Feel free to modify according to your printer and available filament
