DJI RC sun shade (clipon style)

The new DJI RC that can be purchased with the Mini 3 Pro is great, but even the brightest screen could use some help in bright sunlight.

This sun shade has been designed to fit the curvature of the grips of the controller to make it as comfortable as possible to use. However, due to the design of the controller, the sun shade will make the controller a little less comfortable to use, and the natural hand position will need to be changed a little to reach the sticks.

The sun shade is very easy to mount and remove, as it simply just clips over the grips, as shown in this video:

When mounted, your hands contributes in keeping it in place, so it doesn't move.

There are three versions available:
1) Standard version, 50 mm high (shown in video above)
2) Tall version, 70 mm high
3) Tall version with cutouts for fingers (see pictures)

The version with finger cutouts is a bit more comfortable to use, but the cutouts will make you tilt (or lift) the controller a bit more to be able to see the uppermost corners of the screen. Not really a problem in practice, just be aware before printing.

Print with enough perimeters and top/bottom layers to make it solid (i.e no infill is used), and at whatever layer height you prefer (typically 0.3 mm or 0.2 mm will be used).

Prints flat on the front face (should import in the correct orientation as is).
