3D model description

After having Studio Series Voyager Class Optimus Prime as my definitive movie Optimus Prime figure (besides Masterpiece figures), I came to realize that although the robot mode is great, the vehicle mode kind of sucks. It's way too small and it makes Optimus Prime seem tiny in vehicle mode. There's one movie Optimus Prime figure that looks amazing in vehicle mode and that's the Hunt for the Decepticons Battle Blade Optimus Prime mold. After comparing both figures side-by-side, I realized it's completely possible to make parts that attach to Studio Series Optimus Prime that give the figure the proportions of the Battle Blades Optimus Prime truck, as well as the real-life truck. I began work on this project near the end of 2020, but I'm just now finishing it. It includes toolboxes the figure was missing from the real-life truck, as well as a new grill, truck nose, sleeper panels, longer smokestacks, and an entirely new windshield and side windows. This project was extremely fun to work on and it was well worth the wait! The figure now looks great in vehicle mode with Studio Series Ironhide and Bumblebee and it scales much better with the other figures, like it should have from the beginning!
