3D model description

This is a functional model of the "HeS3B" engine by "Dr. Hans von Ohain" mounted on the "Heinkel He178" which succeeded in the world's first jet propulsion flight on August 27, 1939.
This was an epoch-making event that triggered the development of jet aircraft by countries around the world.
Unfortunately, both the aircraft and engine were burnt down and do not exist at present, but I made it as easy to understand as possible based on Internet information.
There are many interesting features that allows you to know the engine design, manufacturing, and assembly techniques of that time.

A. Features built into this model
 ① Assembled impeller and radial turbine with sheet metal blades
 ② Sheet metal processing diffuser and turbine nozzle
 ③ With forward backflow combustor and compressor outlet air splitter
 ④ Evaporative fuel (gasoline) piping / nozzle (Spray Bar):
    Also serves as cooling (heat exchange) for the turbine bearings.
 ⑤ Bearings: Front / deep groove Ball bearings (oil supply),
    Rear / Roller bearings (with grease) - Ball bearings is used in this model.
 ⑥ Compressed air nozzle (pipe) for start-up (turbine case)

[Note] The followings have been changed.
 ・Riveting the sheet metal blade to the back plate →
      Adhesive (adding the image of the rivet fixing shape)
 ・Impeller and turbine rotor back plate → Separated to 3 pieces to keep surface finish
 ・Turbine Rotor Flange Tightening → Center Screw Tightening

B. Assembly Manual (PDF format, total 20 pages)
The detail assembly manual including "Parts-List", "After printing treatment" and "Assembly procedure" are prepared based on "Standard Skill (Filing, Drilling, Tapping and painting)".

C. Purchase Parts Information;
 - Metal Bearing - 689ZZ (9x17x59, DDL-1370ZZ (7x13x4)
 - Screws
M1.4, M2, M3 , Tap required
Quantity and length can be adjusted by your experience.

D. STL file
  Total STL files are 48 items including the stand and tools.
  “ws” of last 2 digits of file name means “With Support” special designed.

E. Total Net Print Time: Approx. 87 HR
 - (Estimated as case of PLA, 0.4mm Nozzle, 0.2mm Layer Height, 40% infill and No raft and support)
  Note: When at actual print, each parameter may be adjusted by your experience.

F. Printing settings
  Raft, Support, Layer Height, Infill: Depending on your experience.
  My models were printed by "idbox" using with 0.4 nozzle, 1.75 PLA.
