3D model description

I wanted a margarita salt rimmer with a lid so that we could save and reuse the salt, and I was inspired by the tortilla warmers that you see at restaurants. Can obviously be scaled up or down to fit any glasses. No supports or rafts needed.

3D printing settings

You can print the base at 0.28mm layer height, but try to print the lid at at least 0.2mm layer height. No supports or rafts needed. I printed in PLA.

There are three lids available. The "margaritas_lid" is designed without a gap and due to the tolerances on your printer will probably require some sanding but then will offer a perfect fit. The "margaritas_small_lid" will probably fit without sanding but may be loose (it's a full 1mm smaller). The "margaritas_lid_fit" has a 0.4mm allowance, so .2mm on each side which should be a perfect fit if you're printing at .2mm wall thickness and layer height.

Uses 107g of material and took 12 hours on standard (50% speed) on my Creality Ender 3.
