3D model description

Surprise Lightsaber!!!!

That’s what Kyle Hill (Nerdist, Because Science, Kyle Hill youtube channel) yelled out when he suddenly and unexpectedly whips out a lightsaber during his youtube videos.

What I have for you is a scabbard designed to hold your precious lightsaber in a more stylish way than a canvas bag. The design makes your lightsaber appear to be a “broadsword” complete with a crossguard.

The crossguard is actually part of the scabbard and is optional. Draw out your lightsaber from the scabbard as you ignite it to surprise your friends (or enemies)!

Compatible with Ultra Sabers Initiate V2, Aeon V2 and Apprentice V4 with the standard 1 inch (25.4mm) outside diameter blade.

Ultra Sabers Lightsaber NOT included
LIghtsaber NOT included

PRIVATE USE ONLY.

You will still need:

1.5” or 2” rectangular metal ring - you need two
1.5” or 2” tri-glide slider adjustment buckle
1.5” (38.1mm) wide strap - 2 yards long

3D printing settings

PLA works

0.1 or 0.2 mm layers

15% infill

Support touching build plate only

You will need to pause the print on parts 1 and 6 when the D-Ring hole is ⅔ complete. Drop in the rectangular metal ring and and resume the print to capture the ring in the print.

Print any combination of parts 2 - 5 to achieve the look and length you need for your lightsaber.

Print the coupler and glue onto part 7 using super glue (Cyanoacrylate Adhesives).

Use super glue to connect all the parts together. Do not insert blade until glue is completely dry.

Sew on the strap to the D rings.
