3D model description

This is the famous “Vorpanzer” of the prototype Tiger Ausf. H1 chassis V1 or VK45.01(H). It’s a conversion for RFMs Initial Tigers RFM5075 and 5078.

When printed and assembled with care, it is workable. Mine still is.

I myself did build this vehicle based on a RFM post-initial Tiger kit and I’d recommend against doing so as well.
The Initial Series of Tigers has different hull sides for example and I had to use a lot parts to backdate mine that are already included in the kits I named above.
You can watch my video about the build here:

I’d recommend you to check out my Initial Tiger Fixes for RFM (soon) and my Early Pattern Tiger tracks as well.

V1 did run on Standard Pattern early tracks, not on mirrored ones when it was photographed (as part of testing how non-mirrored tracks would behave… It turned out the cat was drifting to one side : )

Files are included as blank and presupported versions, a one-file placement is included as well.

This design was part of the STL-Level release on Patreon in September 2021. Please check it for more upgrade parts at a higher discount.
Cults3D takes a 20% cut, what is left over is going 100% back into active research of German WWII AFVs and the model kits needed to ensure the best possible fit.
