3D model description

I designed this guitar holder with a lock mechanism, so that the guitar cannot get off by itself or by accident.

The locking mechanism is designed so it is not possible to release the guitar without lifting the guitar. This ensures the guitar stays on the holder even if you somehow bump the guitar.

I also wanted to be able to take and place the guitar with one hand and as you can see it is easily possible to use it with one hand.

You will need some additional parts to use the guitar holder:
2x M3x16mm (DIN912)
4x Screws for Mounting the Holder (This depends on where you want to place the Guitar Holder)

Optional (Recommended) :
2x Plastic insert for M3
2x Magnet (Radius:5mm Height:1.5mm)

I recommend using inserts for short M3 screws (M3x10mm or M3x12mm) however if you wish to use a long screw I would recommend using M3x16mm or longer.

Magnets are for having a little snap action at the end of the lock lever. I also recommend using some part of the filament as a pivot pin and heating the open end to safely tuck it in.

Recommended print orientation can be seen in the images.

I also share 2022 version.SLDPRT and .SLDASM parts of the design.

3D printing settings

Above %45 infill is sufficient
0.15mm or 0.2mm layer height is good enough
