3D model description

Filament Runout Sensor adapter for installing the Micro Swiss Bowden Extruder on a Creality CR-6 SE or CR-6 Max.

Printer: Creality CR-6 SE and CR-6 Max
Extruder: Micro Swiss Dual Geared Bowden Extruder

FilamentSensorAdapterCR-6-2Screws.stl - Extends the baseplate to allow for both of the original mounting screws to be used to secure the adaptor. I created this to eliminate a buzzing sound my printer would make at the adapter during certain movements.

FilamentSensorAdapterCR-6-2Screws_PC4xM10_Rev3 - Adds the option of threading in a PC4-M10 pneumatic connector so that you can use a bowden tube as a filament guide going in to the runout sensor. The one in the picture is the Revision 2, that's why it cracked. The Rev 3 has a slightly larger place to thread in the PC4xM10 and didn't crack when I installed it.

If you have a bowden tube that's 4mm OD and 3mm ID, use that. Otherwise I suggest cutting away the interior bore of the section of bowden tube that you use at both ends. That will make it a smidge easier to load as well as give the filament a little bit of "play" as it goes from the bowden tube into the runout sensor. That's my theory anyway.

I have pushed the bowden tube through the PC4M10 connector until it's right up against the runout sensor and it's lined up well enough filament never hangs up at the runout sensor when I'm loading.
