3D model description

I designed a Core Class Blaster figure to display with other figures in the scale, and so Soundwave could have a proper rival. The figure is fully posable and transformable! Paint is recommended to make it look even better too. You can also print it in other decos, like the character Twincast or Shattered Glass Blaster!

Transformation instructions are in the pictures! :D

FEATURES:

-Fully posable AND transformable.

-Ankle articulation was made a priority, the feet are connected to ball-joints attached to a hinge, allowing for lots of range in the foot. Waist articulation was also added and incorporated into the transformation early on into the design! :D

-Sculpted and scaled to fit with Transformers Core Class figures or other Legends Class toys.

-Compatible with Core Class Soundwave's cassette piece, featuring and opening tape deck.

-Two of the knobs on the boombox mode are also compatible with blast effects! They're the ones painted light gray in my pictures.

IMPORTANT STUFF:

These files are intended for personal use only. Do not redistribute them in any way.

Seven 1.5mm diameter pins/nails/wire pieces will be required on this toy to connect a lot of parts. 1 of them is used to hold the tape deck piece to the chest, and the other 6 are used in the legs to secure various hinge joints. Nails are recommended for the handle pieces, so the slightly wider top part can rest on the top of the hole on the handle piece to make it less likely to fall off.

Orientation of the parts is entirely up to your own preference. Supports will be necessary for everything.

Sanding may be required on the joints to achieve your desired tightness / looseness.

The final version of this toy has tabs on the shoulders & tab holes on the legs to make the boombox alt mode more secure, along with other slight improvements to the clearances and tolerances.

NOTE: One of the ear pieces broke off on my copy's head, but that was completely my fault, cause I was being too forceful with it. It shouldn't snap off as long as you don't handle it like an idiot. 😏
