3D model description

This vase seems to tell a story or come from a dream!

The Princess Vase Dual is designed from my single extrusion Princess Vase Set. When I made the "framed" version, it just seemed like it was meant to be printed in two colors.

What color combination will you choose?

The "bowl" is actually my first attempt at printing the large one. (My fussing around caused a shift, so I stopped the print.) Stopping the print at desired heights could create some interesting variations!

The purple/blue glitter with the bright green makes this look like a bottle with a magic potion from a fairy tale or fantasy realm.

The orange and yellow vases in one photo are included in my original Princess Vase Set.

3D printing settings

Both the "inner" and "outer" models are included. The complete model is 200 mm tall and approximately 131 mm in diameter at its widest point when printed at 100% scale. This is the large model in my photos.

I also printed it small (35% scale, approx. 69 mm tall) and medium (70% scale, approx. 139 mm tall).

I used 0.3 mm layer height for the medium and large prints and 0.2 mm layer height for the small vases.

The "inner" model is printed with 0% infill and 0 top layers. Also, after the interior base, I switched to 0 bottom layers so the insides would print faster and smoother.

Some progress photos are included at the end from my print of the large vase. I used a two-extruder printer, so an ooze shield was my primer.

The "tower" is just for a fun photo. Be sure to click on it to see the whole thing. With some glue, it could be quite an interesting sculpture!
