3D model description

Printable trumpet mouthpiece that is the equivalent of a Monette B6S1. This is my current favorite un-modified mouthpiece that i have tried!
Creating my own models and printing them has saved me many hundreds of dollars in mouthpiece costs. The sound is obviously different than a metal piece but in terms of getting a feel for a mouthpiece and purely for testing purposes this is a huge money and time saver. Included in this is a classic body style and a body style optimized for 3d printing.

I use Vennture's VennCAD software to make all of my models.

Mouthpiece Specs (in inches):
Inner Diameter- 0.671
Outer Diameter- 1.069
Throat- 0.157
Cup Volume- 0.0683 (cu. in.)

3D printing settings

I recommend printing on a resin printer. I print them on a Photon Mono 4K at 0.050mm layer height or 0.020 for less post-print polishing.
For best results sand the rim of your print until smooth using 1000, 1500, and 2000 grit sandpaper then polishing using beeswax or another safe polishing compound.

This model should be printed at a total length of 80.3mm to be accurate to the reference mouthpiece.
