3D model description

A new series of goblets that succeeded the Siannon type goblets are the miniature goblets.

Their production began around 560 BC. and continued until the end of the third quarter of the 6th. e.g.

Based on the decoration system, they are divided into two types, the lipped and banded (tainioti) cups.

Several vase painters of the time were engaged in the decoration of miniatures cylinders, some of whom even worked as potters. It is worth mentioning that in Macedonia it was found in cemeteries and sanctuaries, secondarily in settlements.

Countless of miniature goblet fragments were discovered in the sanctuaries of Thassos a Greek island situated at the northern part of the Aegean sea.

"Kylikes were often produced in sets to accompany a wine serving vessel, or krater. " -Britannica, 07/06/20
