3D model description

Update 20220908

V2
Cosmetic changes and made center slightly larger so there is a small corner the spool dont traverse if you use larger rollers.
Also added more tolerance to screw holes to make assembly to case simplier.

Update 20220820

Added is a new better lock clamp that uses 1 at least 16 mm long m3 screw.
The knobb uses a m3 nut and need some force to push in to place and recomended to use a plier.
Recomended to use another nut to lock the screw on the clamp.

Print it on 0.2 layer height for the knobb to be fine.
3 walls is important and used 20 percent infill.

the new set have one for using screws and nuts and one is a simple clamp to be snapped on if you want it.

you need a 10mm pipe or rod in desired length.
It uses original screws and holes on printer.
I designed it to use flashforge 600 g spols but should work for most ones 1kg and smaller.
Do not recomend 2kg spols.

Added 2 more sizes to the rollers so you will not be limited to brand and center hole so much.
Original spol roller is 25mm.

The clamp will after a while get loose and then you print a new one or even better put a rubberband betwen the clamp arms to flex it together.
This is the nature of pla as it stretches when under pressure under time.

3D printing settings

Main piece must have at least 15 - 20 percent infill.
3 walls and top and bottom to make it sturdy.
with 1.2 mm thickness.
Then you decide 0.2 or 0.4 layer height.
Rollers is wath you feel is fastest.
Clamp should be printed like the main piece to make it sit tight.
You pull the clamp apart and slide it off the pipe to unlock.
