Transformers CyberBase System Guardrails Set Free 3D print model

If you're anything like us, your burgeoning bot collections may have be sitting on levels and levels of the CyberBase System tiles. The slight worry at times though, is that the ones on the top level are simply standing on a raised platform which increases the danger of them falling straight off the edges.

Thus, here's introducing the Guardrails addon set and here's a look at the various parts of the set.

A couple of things to note:

• The base tiles shown in dark grey in the images here can be found in the CyberBase System core set ( https://www.patreon.com/posts/33140482 )
• The Posts pieces peg onto the base tiles using the provided CBS_Peg piece, and come in 5cm and 8cm height variants, depending on how tall you would like the rails to be
• The horizontal rail pieces come in 2 length variants - 12cm and 15cm.

The different lengths of the rail are such that the longer 15cm will fit end to end through the posts which are affixed on a CBS base tile. The shorter 12cm rail will only peg in without going through the post to the end - this is required to form the corners.

If you would like a longer rail to span across the front of your display, the rail piece can be scaled in one direction to any length you prefer. Or if the desired length does not fit on your printer, the provided Rail_clip can be used to join shorter rail segments also.

Finally after all the Posts and Rails have been assembled, the 5mm_Peg piece can optionally be used to plug up any of the posts' side holes and also provide a standard 5mm port for accessories and such to be pegged onto.

Haven't had the chance to grab photos of this set in action yet, but like the rest of the series, the pieces should fit together quite modularly to provide some fall protection for all your prized collections. =)
