Nausicaa Glider and FoxSquirrel 3D print model

Nausicaa Glider and FoxSquirrel is based on characters depicted in the classis anime 'Nausicaa and the Valley of the Wind.' Each element has been carefully designed and created to capture the spirit and style of the classic film. Nausicaa comes with all of her iconic equipment and weapons. Her pet fox squirrel sits on her shoulder, while she is posed to hold onto the rails of her glider.

The glider has been designed to be printed in 9 pieces, making it easier to print. The models have been test printed using a resin printer, in which case, it is best to assemble the glider after removing stray resin and supports, before curing. Once cured, rigidity or shrinkage may make assembly more difficult. The flaps are designed to pivot, so be sure to remove all resign before assembly.

Given the level of detail, it is probably best to scale the model up if printing on an FDM printer, depending on the quality of the printer or little details may not output correctly.

1- Align pivot point with peg on the narrow end of the Glider Body. (The arrow on the flap should point up and should face the Body)

2- Align and attached the Wing to the pegs protruding from the Glider Body wing base on each side. (The wing will hold the each flap in place.)

3- Insert the Landing Skiis into the octogonal slots on the bottom of the Main Body. (Once cured, they should remain firmly attached)

4- Insert the Rail pegs into the peg slot on the top of the Glider Body. ( If the pegs rim does not sit flush, you may have them on the wrong side or turned around. ) ( Once cured, they should remain firmly attached. )

Once cured, place Nausicca on the glider, aligning her hands with the top rails, with her feet flat on the mid glider surface.
