Finally we get to launch Blaster's Communicator Tower Pod from the Movie! This fairly large build was designed around the earlier Blaster's Communicator Seat (available separately from https://www.patreon.com/posts/49062371).
A couple of customized Cyberbase tiles fit around the base piece for Blaster's seat, and then the four walls attach around it. The radar dome then plunks on top of the entire setup!
In our setup as shown, the spaces between the struts of the walls were left open since that would make moving Blaster, or any other bots, in and out much easier. But definitely they can also be closed up with with clear plastic sheets.
The front canon was designed to be able to swivel up and down after assembly, and sports a 3mm peg up front to allow blast effects to be added!
On the interior face nearest the seat, there is a monitor with 5mm ports which can allow for accessories to be plugged in. Here we have used a 5mm rubber tube to connect from the chair itself to the control panel.
Right on top of the pod itself is the critical radar dome which helps the Autobots communicate with Moon Base-1. Unfortunately it is also pretty easy to attack it seems :P
First, you crack the shell, then you crack the nuts inside!
=== ASSEMBLY ===
Here's a diagram of how the entire piece is put together:
Have only labelled the pegs in this case as the other parts should be quite easy to tell apart. These pegs, while they help to align parts together for gluing, are a tad optional.
Where the 3mm and 5mm rods are used, these can be separately cut-to-size acrylic rods, or be 3d printed from the also included rods in the fileset.
CyberBase tiles can be made to stick to one other temporarily using 5mm diameter magnets, or superglue for a more permanent fixture.
For the top roof assembly, it may be easier to left it separate to allow for bots to be put in and taken out from the top.

So there you have it - one of the largest and more complicated build done till date, which requires a fair bit of patience and luck with supergluing to pull off. Have fun 3d printing and putting this together! =)
