Coin Gulden

Coin Gulden 3D print model

Description

The gold coin of Florence has become widespread. In 1283, in imitation of Fiorino d'oro, floreni aurei began to be produced in Salzburg. In the XIV century, floreni aurei appeared in everyday use in the German states. In the German language of that time, Gulden meant golden. The term has taken root in German-speaking countries and the Netherlands. Originally, a gold coin was called a guilder, minted in Germany since the XIV century in imitation of the golden florin. The first German guilders were issued in Bohemia during the reign of Charles IV and in Lubeck.
