D0C from IDW Transformers Comics and also Easter Egg Cup 3D print model

Here's something wooshing in from the pages of the IDW comics, the plucky little bot D.0.C. Or as he is known in full - Dynamic Zero-Phase Chalcogenide unit :P

D.0.C's arms fit effect parts to give the sense of him jetting around, and he also has a main thruster which pegs onto a display stand to keep him upright.

Robotic tentacles 'sprout' out from his back - coming in handy when he needs to grab onto an enemy Decepticon or Buster! These extend out of this backpack secured to his rear, and can be optionally removed if the tentacles aren't needed or for his other egg mode (more on that in a bit).

The backpack also sports a 5mm peg on its underside, allowing for D.0.C to be mounted onto display stands for a mid-flight look.

D.0.C has been designed with three variant faces under this helmet too, and here's what his head piece looks like when it's been removed.

And for the, erm... easter egg feature for this kit - D.0.C can also double up as an egg cup with his head removed! And gain the option of protecting your egg eating midway by replacing D.0.C's helmet too. Extra credits for anyone who paints an easter egg to be his face :P

The attached diagram shows the parts of this build.

For the tentacles, they are provided as an 18 cm length with one flat side which is to be placed flat on your print bed for printing.

After being printed, you can use a heat source such as a torch, or just really hot water to soften the straight tentacle to form it into any shape which you like. Once done, just cap them off on one end with the provided TentacleTip piece, and slot the other end into D.0.C's backpack!
