3D model description

This is a silencer adapter for airguns. The specifics were requested by a Cults user.

  • Female diameter is UNF-1/2 with 20 threads inch
  • Male thread is M14, 1 thread per mm, left threads / CCW (counter clockwise)
  • Opening is 8mm, so 7.62mm (or .30 caliber) is safe
  • Outer diameter near barrel is 20mm on one model, 23mm on the other.

3D printing settings

PA12 printed using MJF also works very nicely.
Otherwise print FDM in PLA or PETG. ABS not recommended.
No supports needed; print with male threads on top.
Infill to your liking, I prefer 40% or up.
Use thin layer / fine print of 150 microns or less.

Note that threads may be tight on few fittings. More so on PETG than on PLA. PA12 should go smooth straight from the printer.
