GRUMPling Origin Story:
Years ago, I was diagnosed with manic depression, anxiety, and a panic disorder which are classified as mental disorders. These can be very interrupting to everyday life. There is a stigma in society that you shouldn’t show weakness, and to hide your emotions. I don’t want to hide any part of myself, and I live by the saying “Some days you thrive, and some days you're merely here to survive.” Not everyone can be happy all the time, and that is okay. You will never see a Grumpling with a smile because it showcases just that; you may be sad, but people still love and care about you.
