3D model description

Blockychain is a minimal case for the Apple AirTag with a window to see your Apple engraving. It's simple, sturdy, elegant, and quick to print.

I made this because I've been generally dissatisfied with most other 3D printed AirTag designs, which are often not very secure, especially in the part where the loop attaches to a keychain. In addition, many don't have a window to see the engraving (critical for telling one from another), and the ones that do usually have a round window... which doesn't make much sense with the one-line/four-characters allowed.

You'll need four M3x12 screws and matching bolts to finish it. You'll probably need to clean out the hex bolt sockets, and it may help to work the screw holes a bit with a longer screw first. I found it a lot easier to first screw it together entirely using larger screws, then switch to the 12mm ones - this is because I designed it, quite intentionally, to be a bit big so the screws will stay flush.
