3D model description

The Fat Scorpion Modular Miniature Painting Handle is arguably the best painting handle you can print.

The ergonomic design makes it comfortable in your hands for extended painting sessions, the ability to add other attachments makes it much more versatile than other painting handles. We have even designed and threw in a long primer painting handle in the stl's to help with batch painting.

This set uses either blue tac from the dollar store or 2-sided tape to adhere the caps to the models which most modelers we asked preferred due to the top-heavy nature of other squeeze-together, vise-style handles. Because this is a modular system if there is enough interest I can add a vise or chuck style system later but opted for a simple to-print and use system to start with.

Don't struggle with cumbersome handles that you have to remove the miniature from to switch to other models with a twist of the cap you can set aside one model without touching the base and ad your next model making it simple to paint large armies in less time, the customer modular scorpion tail gives you a lot more angles to paint your mini's from and the wide base of the handle makes it easy to put your handle downs without worrying about your model being knocked over.

3D printing settings

.2mm no supports, I used a .6mm nozzle but also printer fantastic with 4 you make want to increase infill if you have .4 and lower outside line width.proper leveled printers should print just fine without rafts or brims but if you are having adhesion issues use a brim.
