3D model description

I created this basket to facilitate the guiding of thin slides that sometimes get stuck in my REFLECTA 6000 slide scanner. This accessory will guide the slides better, but it is necessary for some too deteriorated to replace the cover if the slide is partially detached or the corner damaged.

This is a copy of the original basket on which I increased the thickness of the dividing walls, while still allowing the scanner arm to pass through. I created it with 12 slots to limit the printing time.

3D printing settings

Designed with DesignSpark Mechanical, sliced with Cura 5 and printed in PLA on a DAGOMA Disco Easy 200 with a 0.4 nozzle.

Print time 4h, mass 45 grams. The supports are not necessary. Walls 0.8mm, filling 20%.
