A 1/6 scale model of the Barrett M107A1 for 3D printing.

Barrett M107A1 sniper rifle is a .50 BMG (12.7 Γ— 99 mm NATO) sniper rifle produced by Barrett Firearms, USA. This sniper rifle was designed by American gunsmith Ronnie Barrett. Without proper training or experience in the manufacture of firearms he was able to design and manufacture the first working samples in his garage in 1980. In March 2017, the US President authorized the sale of a batch of Barrett M107A1 rifles along with sniper kits and other related equipment to Ukraine for a total of $41.5 million. This decision was the first sale of ammunition (so-called lethal weapons) by the United States to Ukraine since the start of the Russo-Ukrainian war in 2014.
