3D model description

Disclaimer:
Use this thing at your own risk, it works for me, you are modifying the 3D printer. Use common sense and always wear proper protective gear when using power tools, grinders, drills, etc.

A simple Mod for replacing the Eryone stock hot end

A. Optional just replace the stock heat block with E3D M6 heat block with a matching silicone sock, this heat block has a screw to secure the thermistor.
B. Drill two new holes 3mm x 22mm center to center 90° to the stock holes, (optional template, you don't need a template if you're good at crafting).
C. Mount the stock one now 90° this way you will get a higher cooling efficiency for the heat sink, will get fewer chances of heat creep.

Completing A, B, C is the first step with the stock hot end (or with an E3D heat block).

D. Print an optional 3010 fan shroud to direct the cooling steam to the hot end, instead of the original design (which is partially cooling the heat block), the shroud has excellent cable management built-in. PLA is fine because there is not a lot of heat radiated from the heatsink, 0.1 layers high, 3 walls, 40% infill. Optional 2 X M3.5 X 20mm self-tapping screw to secure it (the stock ones are shorter).

Note:
By turning the stock hot end by 90°, it effectively increases the cooling area from 168 (14mm x 12mm)mm² to 264 (22mm x12mm)mm², an increase of 96 mm², you do the math, and enjoy the benefit of better cooling on the stock heat sink.

If you want to go further, proceed from step E

E. Order CR6-SE hot end and the matching thermistor capsule from your favorite vendor, you may use the stock heating cartridge/element.

F. Snip partial of the bottom plate (optional template) to make room for the new CR6-SE heat block.

G. Print an adjustable AiO BLTouch mounting bracket to compensate for the difference of 1.54mm between the height of the stock and the CR6-SE, for those machines with manual mesh leveling, you must adjust the z-end stop to a higher position. https://www.thingiverse.com/thing:4914705

Note: For those individuals who prefer not to have 3D/BLTouch, please download the z-end stop plate for this mod from the Eryone Forum site: https://www.eryone.com/forum/download/file.php?id=466

H. Mount the CR6-SE hot end on the new holes, install heating cartridge/element and thermistor (capsule) if reuse the stock thermistor, heat shrink the leads (do not cover the glass end), insert it into the hole about 3/5 (pass the grub screw) just hand touch tighten the set screw on the heat shrunk lead (do not over tighten it, you may identify how I heat shrunk the thermistor in the photo).

I. Do the routine of adjustment of homing z-end stop or the BLTouch position, probe the z-offset, and baby steps to fine-tune it, etc.

Hot end fix is highly recommended
