3D model description

Due to issues with Thingiverse some models do not appear in my profile (among other issues) so please follow me on Printables to see my full catalog and see my newest models first going forward.

Noob 3D modeller back again this time with my attempt to make the KOTOR Old Republic G20 Glop grenade model for custom figures and cosplay.

This model is scaled at 1:12 scale for 6 inch figures, 1:6 scale for 12 inch figures and 1:1 scale for life size props/costume accessories. Ideal for use with Old Republic trooper figures/costumes such as the Havoc Squad members.

The complete grenade comes in a couple versions due to ambiguous reference materials:
standard (smooth rear) and with button on rear. The full size version of these have fine β€œtrench” lines while the 1:12 has more exaggerated details so they show up when printed at such small scale. The 1:6 version comes with both normal and thicker lines as options.

There is also a split version to imitate the split droid popper design to give you more options for display (it does have two lights/buttons so maybe it is intended to be able to be separated?) and this should also make printing the full size grenade easier.

The full size split version has a recessed area in the middle of both halves for magnets to be glued in (a joiner piece is included if simply gluing together the halves permanently) as well as alignment keys either side to keep the halves oriented correctly.
The 1:12 and 1:6 versions of the split grenade are simply smooth and flat on both halves so they can be glued together/to other objects or simply left split (up to you how you use them).

Let me know if you have any issues. Have fun!
