Baby Turtles

These models were sculpted in Blender during the 2022 sea turtle nesting season in Florida. I love sea turtles and seeing them hatch in person is on my bucket list. Our beach has been full of nests, but my busy schedule and timing has not aligned with these hatchings yet. This project was about bringing some of that baby sea turtle fun into my home to enjoy (and hopefully yours as well) even if I do not get to see them hatch in person and make their trek to the ocean this year.

There are four baby turtles total that come in this pack. One wall walker (has nail holes on the stomach and a hole measuring ruler), one egg turtle, one flat surface walker turtle (no nail holes), and one baby sea turtle with all four fins flat.

This is my first pay to download file set on Cults3D and it is my goal to put any proceeds from this project towards adopting sea turtle nests in my county to help support their protection.

All of these baby sea turtles were 3D printed in PLA with supports with the exception of the egg sea turtle. The wall walker sea turtle includes a flat turtle silhouette with two holes to be used as measurement markers for nails. If you want the wall walker turtles to alternate which fin is raised when walking up your wall all you will need to do is mirror your file in the slicer. I did do several scales of the wall walker turtle to create variation on my wall, but do keep in mind that the measurement .stl will need to be scaled to match if you choose to make scale changes on the wall walker turtle.
