3D model description

If you want nylon 1/2" #6 standoffs, they're upwards of $0.50 -- EACH! Minimum quantity 100! I am NOT paying that kind of coin for simple #6 mounting hardware when I have a 3D printer on hand!

This is NOT a simple tube. It's a cylnder with a precisely sized hole for #6 hardware. Squish is accounted for.

My Arduino projects use these by the dozen to mount all sorts of modules. LDC displays, LED modules, RTC modules, relay modules, etc.,etc, etc. I make 'em between jobs to keep the plate hot.

I had designed the same basic part for #4, but there wasn't really a point as this #6 can work equally well with #4 or even M3 hardware.

Your slicer can stretch or shrink if you need other than the 1/2" length.

3D printing settings

90% infill for strength. PLA or PLA+

Use a 2mm brim for best adhesion.
