Best customizable hand spinner fully 3D printable

Bring it everywhere, it is very satisfying!

The goal of this mini project was to find an original way to reproduce the hand spinner so well known by all. So I modeled the main body allowing the hand spinner to spin with an interesting fluidity and less friction. My concept allows to change the outer body of the hand spinner, allowing the vast possibilities.

The concept includes 3 pieces:

  1. The hand supports

  2. The outer body

  3. The gear bearing

I currently offer 5 outer body models, 2 of which are similar (different sizes).

3D printing settings

The size of the final assembled object varies depending on the outer body used.

Maximum diameter of the object: 70 mm

Minimum diameter of the object: 56 mm

PLA

  1. IMPORTANT to set the filling of the gear system to 100%!

1.1 Put a higher quality if possible (Dynamic quality 0.16 mm)

For the rest :

Filling 15-20%.

Note that you need to unlock the gears. Just take a small pair of pliers and make a turn with the central gear.
