3D model description

โ€œThe Kalash Bolter is a bolter that has an interesting history. The bolter was made on Terra during the Great Crusade, in what was once called Russia. It was a weapon that was used by Terran born Astartes, who were born in Russia, and the surrounding Slavic areas, with its aesthetics based upon the designs of the Kalashnikov rifle, from the 20th and 21st century. The firing rate was slower compared to other bolters, but force of impact was harder and more damaging to the desired target. Upon the legionnaires reuniting with their missing Primarchs, many of them were not able to use the weapon that reminded them of their homeland. Only high ranking officers were given the freedom to use said weapon to their leisure. However, some Legions allowed those who hailed from the Slavic region of Terra to retain the weapon and use it freely without restriction. When the Horus Heresy broke out, the weapon had two outcomes. On the traitor side, the gun was either defaced or destroyed to spite the loyalist. On the loyalist side, the weapon was further refined to combat the Traitor forces. When the Heresy ended, the weapon had reached its perfection, and saw widespread usage in the Imperium, thanks to the loyal terran born Astartes. The Vonstroyans use the bolter from time to time, while some chapters keep the tradition of allowing Slavic born Astartes, from both terra and Slavic imperial planets, to use this bolter pattern, as a tribute to those who came before them. Only one chapter uses this weapon entirely, prefering to only use this bother pattern amongst their troops. I am glad that this weapon gets the justice it deserves.โ€

The inspiration of this model, and its design came from an art piece that was made by Echo-Virus-1 over on Deviantart.

Please go show them some love, as their artwork is amazing, and without it, I wouldโ€™ve never been able to turn their work into a model the community can use for their minis.

All weapons are scaled to be used with Firstborn Space Marines, and the old Horus Heresy sets.

Any feedback would be greatly appreciated!
