Mauser and STG Bolters & Las-Bolters

“These weapons are very interesting. The Mauser Pistol, was made by Germanic born engineers during the 20th century, and saw action in two World Wars. The STG 44, also made in the 20th century, saw action in the second world war, and was one of the few rifles that were fully automatic. A few millennia later, the weapons were reinvented to fit the new age. The weapons were primarily designed to be used as bolters. There is also a variant of these guns. Taking inspiration from the Las-Bolters design, the Mauser and STG can instead be refitted to be las-bolters, being the first non widespread bolter, to become a part of the Las-Bolter Project. Some legions and chapters did use the bolter version, but in a limited use, preferably using other patterns. However, chapters who have lineage tied to the Germanic people, use both bolter and las-bolter versions of the Mauser pistol, and the STG 42K, to pay respect and honor to their ancestors. These are both fine additions to the Imperiums arsenal.”

I made these weapons one, thinking “how cool would it be if space marines used a weapon that looks like it came straight from the past, but functions like other weapons in the far flung future?” As stated in the brief description, there are two versions. One is more like a classic bolter, the other is more akin to the first STLs I made, which were the Las-Bolter set.

All weapons are scaled to be used with Firstborn Space Marines, and the old Horus Heresy sets.
