Selfie (Stick) GoPro Inverter

The Selfie (Stick) GoPro Inverter, SGI for short, was designed to orient the camera so the internal camera GPS antenna is aligned correctly pointing to the sky if you shoot footage with the selfie stick positioned above the action camera.

A secondary feature of this design is that the printed SGI provides some protection to the camera’s main screen if you happen to lose control of your selfie stick while doing action cam-related activities at the cost of needing to dismount the camera (1-HINGE option) or loosen and swing it (2-HINGE option) for toggling some settings.

For reasons of durability in action-camera environments, it is recommended that you use equivalent or better engineering plastics over less durable print materials like PLA.
