3D model description

The following is a large set of STL files that can be used to create highly modular dungeons. The set includes 25 wall variants of various sizes ranging from 3 inches long to 7inches long. 23 floor variants are also included that range in sizes of 3x2, 3x3, 5x3, 5x5, and 7x7 inches.

The dungeon tiles include two connection options using (a) 5mm Diameter by 2mm thick magnets (such as can be found on Amazon) or (b) a 3D printable clip that allows tiles to be pushed together or simply set down next to each other, holding the tiles together when they are on a table. Instructions are included with pictures to show how to assemble the tiles. Some super gluing (or glue equivalent) is required.

All wall heights are about 35mm (1.4 inches) and should not obstruct the view of 28mm figures on the tiles. A third option is to use only the floors (for those who do not like walls). The tiles shown in the photographs were printed using either an FDM (filament) printer followed by basic painting/wash/dry-brush or an SLA (resin) printer.

Higher detail is achieved with a resin printer (see photos). I spruced up the tiles by gluing bits of skeletons, weapons, and shields after printing.

3D printing settings

These files were initially test printed on an Ender 5 plus using the Prusa Slicer 2.5.0 at a layer height of 0.1mm and default settings. No supports are required if positioned properly. All walls and doorways have a "halved" option where each side can be printed separately and then glued together so that supports are not needed.

I have since printed the files using an Elegoo Saturn 2 (8k) SLA printer and have posted the pictures of this. I used the default Elegoo settings and Elegoo's standard resin 2.0.
