About This...
I've done odds and ends like Pip Boys and Fusion Cores. I've done small-scale sci-fi aircraft models... and Cosplay Laser weapons. I started this project in 2020 with the MK 1 Enclave Mask. I wanted to add a set of armor to my 3D Print design portfolio. Lilykill already has the combat armor covered. So, it was a choice between this and Starship Troopers Traitor of Mars MI Jumpsuits. The ERSA seemed the best fit for my printer setup and the more budget-friendly option in terms of material.

My goals with this project. Minimize the amount of extra hardware required to assemble. With that, I designed a swivel and bolt system integrated into the armor. The only extra hardware required is nylon straps and 7 M4x 10mm screws. The screws aren't necessary for cosplay purposes as they are used to secure the armor plate covers on the backside of the Chest plate.

SIZING
These STLs are designed to fit a 71 freedom unit (fu) tall person or 5fu 11 mfu or 180.34cm tall person. The swivel straps should allow for maximum end-user adjustment for the most customized fit.

The design allows for easy scaling.
EXAMPLES
A 4fu or 122 cm tall person. Reduce models by 30%
A 5fu or 152 cm tall person. Reduce models by 15%
A 7fu or 213 cm tall person. Increase models by 15%

in short, scale the models 15 % up or down per 1 fu or 30 cm difference of your height from 71 mfu.

Segmented Pieces (Chest Plate, Ab Plate, Back Plate)
Arranged alphanumerically A1-C4 from left to right, top to bottom as looking at the outer surface. A-C designates columns 1-4 designates rows. KISS method. If you don't understand, grab a friend and play battleship.

EXTRA CREDIT
Making 3D printable ballistic armor. See video https://youtu.be/u-FBHZ2gaXU

Tech this out meow uses fiberglass-wrapped HDPE IE. melted milk jugs to form ballistic bricks. With that in mind, I plan to test my design printed in ABS and wrap it in fiberglass to see how it holds up to small arms and rifle rounds.
