Dragonoid Dominion
The Dragonoid Dominion is a vastly wealthy empire filled with militaristic clans of various types of dragonoids. These clans tend to handle various key functions in the empire to make sure things run smoothly. The Dragonoid Dominion is lead by the great Dragon Emperor.
The Dragon Emperor is the leader of a great interdimensional bank with access to seemingly infinite wealth. The Dragon Emperor also functions as a Warlock Patron to select people, usually those with great wealth, power or abilities. The Dragon Emperor's Military is led by his various half-dragon children that usually show incredible promise and routinely rise to the ranks of adventurers.
Mutated Dragonoids
Mutated dragonoids are a branch of the Dragonoid Dominion's military forces. These forces are experiments created for the Dragon Emperor via the abberant machinations of the Overseers. These forces are generally used as guard forces for the deadzone around the dragon dominion but they are also sent in as shock troops against those kingdoms that default on their loans to the Great Bank.
Vayllopthrix, The Dragon Hydra
Vayllopthrix is the ultimate creation of the Overseers. He is a massive Dragon Hydra that essentially functions as a nearly immortal siege engine that is capable of immense destruction and is far more dangerous and cunning that one may think.
The Overseers
The overseers are the architects of the Dragonoid Dominion. Their experiments and foul influence grow the dominion and breed new warriors. Their initial assault on a creature brings new dragonkin for their master. Then the experimentation begins. Sobeks, basilisks, brutes and more are a result of these experiments that started off with dragonkin. Rumors float around that the dreaded Vayllopthrix was the result of these eldritch scientists bringing together dragonkin after dragonkin until the fearsome four headed fiend known today was born.
Mutated Basilisk
Whatever mad mind behind these monstrosities has extracted their petrifying gaze and made it a part of their skin and their very being. Rumors have started that all their organs are moving stone. Regardless, if you see stone trees, it'd be wise to run.
Sobbek
The Sobbeks are used to patrol and scout for the Dominion. Their body naturally adapts to their surroundings and they can be submerged for long periods in the waterways that surround the Dominion's territory. Their senses have been tuned and bodies made to scout out threats and report them. Once report has been made, expect enforcers and the dragonkin to come in droves.
Mutated Dragonkin
What nearly every member of the mutated dragonoids starts out as. These foot soldiers are relatively weak compared to the rest but can overwhelm with numbers. In this form their old personalities are rebelling against their new form. This almost always causes a constant rage within them and creates turmoil within their minds. They must be directed by the Overseers or enforcers until they are complacent with their new role in life.
Additionally, the shapechanging blood within them is fresh and may still affect creatures who are exposed to it. For this reason, cold and lightning is advised to keep it from spreading. Fire does not help as their bodies resist it.
Sobbek Enforcer
These particular sobbek are used as the muscle to back up mutated dragonkin and other sobbek. They are incredibly strong for their size.
Dragonoid Brutes
The grunt workers and power houses of the Dominion. Their brute strength allows them to asisst the Overseers in their experiments. Their unique morphology also gives them an advantage when carrying new "recruits" for their masters. You might see them on the battlefield, answering a Sobbek's report of danger.
