3D model description

The STL files are for the white/red and yellow wings pictured, They have 3D printed frames and are sheeted with Dollar Tree foam board and covering film, MH32 airfoil, 1.8Β° dihedral.

Dollar Tree foam wings for RC planes have been around for a while. The problem is getting an accurate airfoil, especially the leading edge. 3D printing solves that

These wings were intended for the V2 Arrow in my other posting and will work on that plane. I'm using a newer technique printing from the leading edge up, like the upright prototype with the print supports still attached.

DT foam deforms at a temperature even lower then PLA, which is already low, making covering difficult without melting and distortion. I would skip the covering film and just use paint. Leave the paper on. The foam itself has little strength.
