"many forest spirits are believed to be benevolent towards wayfarers in the forest with the thickest trees. They help lost travelers find their way, helping and accompanying them to the paths that lead them out of the tangled forests. Laila is a different spirit. She does not trust humans, or indeed any humanoid race that crosses her path. On the contrary, she enjoys making the most stoned travelers get lost in the forests, sending them to a terrible fate. The Deer Spirit, Argamo, accompanies her in all her wanderings, as a friend and adviser."
