3D model description

After several iterations, this is the best trailer hitch I could make. It's very small compared to what I started with and yet very strong. Only uses about 25 g of material with heavy infill, and 50 g if completely solid.

Requires 3 M3 screws approximately 20 mm long (model is 12 mm thick so screws need to be long enough to get through the scooter frame and get a nut on the other side) and 2 M3 nuts. 5 M3 washers are optional but strongly recommended. The other hardware is already on the scooter (such as the axle screw) and the trailer arm mounting hole (the top right one) is 10 mm nominal (10.2 for some extra clearance) mm which fits my trailer mount bracket perfectly.

There are two nearly identical models for the left side, only difference is that one is filleted for aesthetic purposes. I chose to use the non-filleted model as it offers the most material to make the strongest possible print.

The third model is an earlier version I made for the right side of the scooter, however I didn't like it because my foot hits the trailer arm. Otherwise it functions exactly the same but is 1 mm thicker and contains an extra mounting hole (also for an M3 screw).

Very messy Fusion 360 document is included if you want it.
