3D model description

Hello !

Here is a stock heavily inspired by the Woox Furiosa (a real steel stock designed for diverses action, one of those being the Ruger 10/22), made for the Airsoft KJ Works KC02. The lenght of the buttpad and the height of the cheekrest are fully adjustable with a knob, and the system is easy to install (it installs exactly like the original stock). It gives a completely different feeling to the replica, for the players who wants a more "hunting" feeling, but wants to keep a modern look. See the attached pictures to get a view of the installation hardware (I didn't make an installation video, it's really easy to understand once you have the parts in your hands).

To simplify the assembly, i made the handguard/receiver in two parts, that needs to be glued. To help for the alignment, i made 4 holes designed for 2mm steel rods (I use bike spokes, those are perfect and cheap). Insert the spokes in the holes, apply glue on the spokes and on the contact patch between the 2 parts, and push the 2 parts together during the gluing process. Simple and effective.

I made the same with the skeleton stock. I divided it in 2 parts: left and right. Print both with the "inside" on the buildplate. Insert short 2mm rods on the small holes inside the stock (these are not made for increasing the strenght, they are only there to help you align the 2 halves precisely), apply glue everywhere bewteen the two halves, and push the 2 halves together as hard as you can. layer orientation will give your stock a nice solidity.

Insert rigid rods (i used steel one because i had those at home) in the guide rods of the cheekrest/buttpad). Doesn't matter the material, that's just for protecting the rod from snapping.

Insert an M8 threaded rod in the hole of the cheekrest/buttpad. You will need to force it inside. I used an M8 screw, to help me forcing it, and then i cut the end of it.

For the rest of the assembly, that's just screws and inserts, not much to say. I use the Ruthex inserts (can be found on Amazon), and for the screws you can check you local or online hardware store.
