3D model description

I have never really liked space marines, it's much more fun to play the underdogs. Also, when it comes to choosing a faction, I find it more fun to play the bad guys. Translate this into a certain grim future setting and you come up with the ultimate bad guy underdogs... Chaos Cultists.

This is the first of what I plan to be a long series of more Chaos Cultists. I mean c'mon, if you tell someone your genetically modified gene enhanced super soldiers in power armor with the best weapons and training possible won a battle, who cares? That is what they are supposed to do. But you tell someone that your hordes of Chaos Cultists defeated, well, anything, then that is a truly impressive victory.

Aside from the obvious cool factor, why might you want to collect Chaos Cultists? Well, as miniatures go they are tremendously useful and versatile. Obviously they have a place on the brutal battlefields of the grim future (where there is only war). What about the close quarters skirmishes pitting one murderous team against another? Chaos Cultists certainly belong in the shadowed depths of the undercity. And for that matter, they belong on every planet in the confines of the empire and beyond, they are the archenemy after all. Suppose you are playing a modern day miniature adventure where a group of fearless individuals battle cosmic horrors from beyond space and time? You are definitely going to need some cultists for that. I could go on, but I think you get the picture. Chaos Cultists might not be the most effective troops, but they are certainly the coolest.
