Fx .22 Crown, Dreamline, Wildcat and Maverick Slug magazine

The previous version (still available) was not fitting the FX Wildcat mk3 rifle.
Sorry I forgot about the cheek support for the Wildcat

So I redesign the Magz. for all calibers now with the pointy front - similar to the original magazine from FX.
To gain access for the magnet i had to reduce the maximum slug height by 0.5 mm (due to the friction O-ring relocation)

So this means the Washer, Rotor are different height than for the other magz.
So please remember to choose all parts from starting with "Standard FX"

I removed the previous versions flipcovers named Wildcat since this is not fitting the Wildcat mk3 anyway

The new magz is without rifle name, only FX execpt for the cover also showing "Wildcat"

Updated the shopping list to include ø6x5 Neodymium magnets and a M3 x6 Countersinked flathead screw (Fitted under the magnets)

Use a m3x6 Screw against the magnet and use a ø6x5 Neodym magnet for the cover The Magnet sticks almost 2 mm in the body when the cover is closed. This is to protect the hinges in case you drop the mag on the ground.

1. Added a new version of body and cover (see new photos) for the Dreamline Tactical - the Picatinni rail touched the body and could not be properly inserted. (This version is ok for all FX rifles)

Take advantage of the fresh designed FX Crown Magazine with flip cover. Here in the .22 version.
It is designed especially to be good for Slugs, but it is working ok for pellets too.

use ABS printed on a glass bed with DimaFix spray at 100 degrees C.
I also sometime use Petg for the body, washer, and cover, but very seldom for the rotor. The rotor is coming out of the printer with superior quality – specially numbers are easier to print with ABS or in this case ASA.

I print all with 0.16mm layer height. Be sure to calibrate your printer at optimize your slicer. Everything is designed to 0 tolerance so use your slicer XY horizontal compensation.

Print the rotor with the numbers towards the print bed.
I prefer quality over speed so i print at 50 mm/s.
When I print with ABS scale the parts in X 100.4% and Y 100.4% not in Z.

Cut m3 threads in the 3 holes for the m3x8 countersink steel screws andfor the center screw.
Use two ø6x 2,5 neodym. magnets for the cover.
(I use ø6 x3 since they are cheaper). Just screw the two m3 screws just below the body surface to absorb the 0.5 mm the magnets are too long.

Use a 1.2 mm steel or carbon rod for the hinges. Drill free with a 1.2 mm drill first while the cover is fixed in place. (You can fix the cover temporary by the 2 screws for the magnets before fitting the magnets,

Supports when printing.
Body: only touching bed.
Cover: no supports
Washer: no supports
Rotor no support

I recommend using the .3mf files over the .stl files - The .3mf files will give smoother roundness.
