3D model description

For this design we wanted to create a wireframe industrial spin on a chandelier.

We think this design will look great in any modern setting and the patterns of light that this chandelier creates will bring a lot of atmosphere to your room (for best results use a glass LED bulb).

This design really pushes the limit of overhang printing and the integrated custom designed support material means that printing is easy, print times are reduced and material is saved.

Also, the support is tuned to break away easily (which is important for a wire framed design). It's not the quickest print but we believe the final result is well worth the wait.

For ease of installation the chandelier hangs from brackets, this means you don't have to have tiny hands and allows you to use larger light bulbs than otherwise possible.

There are 2 sizes of files included in this download. See dimensions in print settings for print bed compatibility.

This product has been designed for an E27 lampholder [40mm Diameter] if you can't find one of those let us know and we can supply you with an adapter plate/alter the design.

We printed this design with Silver PLA.

We have tested this product with a 13W light bulb and there has been no deformation of the PLA. If you use PLA we wouldn't recommend going much higher than this.

To print this design we used a Creality CR10 Pro and the prints in the photos are printed with a 0.4mm nozzle (small) + 0.6mm nozzle (large) .

This design pushes overhang printing a little and the custom support is designed to break away easily at a specific layer height. These are:

Small: 0.25mm
Large: 0.35mm

For best results, print using the recommended layer heights, never over as this may fuse the support to the print.
