3D model description

Sometimes, when using an oscilloscope, it is desirable to be able to get the probe attached to the PCB. This may be to lower the loop inductance of the ground lead or just because the probe is difficult to hold in place.
This adapter allows you to insert a probe and then use the wires to solder to the PCB. Micro-clips, alligator clips, connectors, etc. may be attached to the leads also.
It was designed to fit a Siglent 200MHz PP215 probe, but I believe may fit many of the lower cost probes out there. I believe the PP215 is considered 4.5mm.
If you discover other probes that fit, please leave a comment.

The spring terminal are Molex 0008500113 These are available from Mouser and Digikey…probably other places. They come attached to each other with a carrier (material between spring terminals). Simply cut the carrier in between each spring terminal. The carrier material on each side of the spring terminal slides into a slot on each half of the adapter body.
The wire I used was stranded 22gauge. https://www.amazon.com/gp/product/B00B4ZQ3L0/ref=ppx_yo_dt_b_search_asin_title?ie=UTF8&psc=1

I attached the two adapter halves together with cyanoacrylate glue (super glue).

Make sure to print it at 0.12mm or smaller as the terminal slot is 0.24mm wide. I would be interested to see a print made on a resin printer, to see the detail

Update 10/27/2021: Added STEP file so you can remix.
Update 8/21/2022: Have printed this using a Halot One Plus resin printer. The results are very good with very fine detail. (Used 50um layer height) The advantages to resin printing is better resolution, but also it prints faster. Even better, you can print many at a time with no penalty to printer time. For example: An Ender 3 will take about 1hr 21min to print one pair of the part. A Halon One Plus can print one pair in 54 min, but it could also print 10 pairs in that same 54 minutes.
To print in a resin printer lay the pair-halves flat on their back and print with no supports.
