3D model description

UPDATE
The Howitzer 6Inch Gun is now added for free to this design, its meant to compliment the model and it can be either place besides the gun carrier or mounted in front and have the wheels be mounted on the sides.
I will be uploading some more parts as details in the following weeks.

The Gun Carrier Mark I was a British vehicle of the First World War. The gun carrier was designed to transport a 6-inch howitzer or a 60-pounder gun forward soon after an attack to support infantry in advanced positions.

This Model was created from scratch using Blender3D, its a big model meant to be printed with an FDM printer in combination with a resin printer, the model is divided into 50 pieces, with future parts planned to dress the model, such as a fully detailed engine and transmission.

This model complements another one of my models, the howitzer 6inch Gun, being able to carry the gun inside of the model using the ramp in the front. *The 6 Inch Gun Isnt included with this Model*

The model measurements one printed are:

1:35 or 100% scale 297mm x 95mm x 100mm

1:48 or 73% scale 216mm x 69mm x 73mm

1:72 or 48.6% scale 144mm x 46mm x 48mm

i will be uploading an assembly guide for the model (it takes a while) but if youre too eager to assemble the model, remember to follow these steps:
attach the sides to the middle hull piece, the tracks, the side supports, the "driver base" to the Top Front piece before attaching both parts to the rest of the hull, the rest of the parts dont really need an exact order, but i dont recommend gluing the Rear Top piece if you aim to then insert the Engine (not yet included)

I have printed these parts in an FDM printer for less waste and easier printing:
Body Front, Body Rear, Sides Front, Rear, Inside & Outside.

The rest have been resin printed so i cant say for sure they will be succesful in an FDM printer.

This model took a really long time for lack of reference material so i apologize to anyone hoping for it to be ready sooner

Please let me know of any issues with any of the files, or any missing piece, also, i will soon be uploading the 6inch Howitzer Gun in this same post, or as a separate one.

3D printing settings

Printed in PLA

5-10% infill

1.2mm layer height

50mm/s speed

Support active: 5% density 60% support interface desity

Build Plate Adhesion: Brim

For Sla Printing:

This mode has a lot of thin details, make sure you add a fair ammount of supports and angle the tracks so that theyre standing, then rotate to have the least amount of overhangs for better surface finish

make sure to hollow the model and add draining holes when needed, make sure to angle the parts in such a way that there are not flat parts, to decrease sagging on the model.
