Sci Fi Boarding Action Walls & Hatches Terrain

Corridor and wall set for 28mm scifi tabletop warfare inside buildings and spaceships.

Includes:

• Straight wall section, single ended and double ended versions
• Straight wall with end stop
• Straight wall/door and wall/wall combo sections
• Corner with 2 straight wall sections at 90 deg
• Corner with 1 straight and 1 doorway sections at 90 deg
• Doorway section, single ended and double ended versions
• Hatches compatible with Doorway section, with or without hinge
• Securing Cap compatible with all wall sections

Compatible with GW Boarding Actions rules on a 100mm/4" grid. All wall sections can be used either way up. Caps can be used on the corners to secure sections together if they are loose.

In order to build all 9 Boarding Actions maps, you will need to print the following:

• 19x single wall
• 19x single doorway
• 6x double ended wall
• 2x double ended doorway
• 4x single wall with endstop
• 1x straight wall/wall combo
• 1x straight wall/door combo
• 2x corner wall/wall combo
• 1x corner wall/door combo
• sufficient caps and hatches of your choice

There are much more detailed sets out there which I encourage you to buy if you want something pretty - this is a very simple set designed for FDM printers at high speed without supports to get you playing as quickly as possible.

Hatches can be left disconnected for easy removal, or pinned with 1.5mm wire. The hinge rail on the door section is the only part that might look a little messy after printing without support as there is a small section of 90deg overhang. You may wish to add supports just on that part of the model if your slicer supports it.

An alternative hingeless hatch design has been added in case you prefer to remove the hatches altogether rather than hinging them.

The set is complete and game-ready, but please let me know of any issues.

I printed all pieces without supports using PLA+ with a 0.3mm layer height and 5% infill. Printing times ranged from 30-40m for the hatch & cap to 3:20 for the corner piece on my printer (Wanhao i3).

All facing parts include a 0.5mm clearance. On my printer this resulted in a fit that was a solid mate but not tight when unpainted. YMMV.
