3D model description

I had 2 Ikea LAMPAN desk lamps on my bedroom but were tired of it. My wife is a huge Harry Potter fan so I decided to design this model.

She absolutely loved it! It took me a lot of hours designing this so I hope you all enjoy.

This model is printed in 4 parts:
Part 1 - Body
Part 2 - Cover
Part 3 - Base
Part 4 - Lithophane

It requires assembly after printing. It has been design to re-use the electric parts of the IKEA LAMPAN Desk Lamp.

Instructions:
-Print all 4 parts using my recommended settings;
- Insert the Part 4 (Lithophane) into the base (Part 3). You will have to force it a little bit but it will fit under pressure. I had to do it this way so it doesn't get loose with time;
- Disassembly the IKEA LAMP Desk Lamp. We will use the cord, the Bulb Socket and the E14 Light Bulb;
- Insert the previous assembly (Part 3+4) into the body (Part 1) gently. The pins are very fragile. Use a few drops of super glue around the hole and the pins. Make sure that you have a strong connection between parts. Wait for it to dry before continue to the next step;
- Pass the cord through the hole of the body and connect it to the bulb socket;
- Insert the bulb socket into the body. You don't need glue on this one, just press it a little bit;
- Connect the E14 Bulb;
- Insert the Cover in the top of the lamp. Once again, you will have to press it a little bit but be gentil to not damage the whole lamp. It will fit.
- Done! Enjoy your Harry Potter themed lamp :)

IMPORTANT NOTES: If you don't have an IKEA LAMPAN, you will need to buy an E14 Bulb Socket with 27mm and a cord. Just make sure that the bulb socket will fit in the space.

If you have any trouble assembling this, just contact me!
