3D model description

Cell phone holder device for vehicle dashboard. The cell phone is inserted through the upper part and the arms close and adjust to the size of the cell phone, the holder is fastened to the ventilation grills of the front panel of the vehicle. Optimized and reduced size model, comfortable, elegant and easy to use. The relative position can be adjusted to optimize the user's viewing and operation. Composed of several parts, see attached figures as an assembly guide. The parts should be printed so that they lie flat on the print bed. All parts are designed to be printed without supports, except for the Long Right Arm part which needs it. The parts must be joined using adhesive (ideally cyanoacrylate). Small springs are required to hold the arms open in the absence of the device, or a rubber band can be used instead (see figure).

3D printing settings

20% fill, speed: 40 mm/s, 0.4 mm nozzle, layer height: 0.2 mm (0.12 mm recommended). Minimum support only on the Right Long Arm part (0.5 XY distance and 0.2 mm or layer height for Z distance). Caps and Union are recommended to be printed with sufficiently high balsa support, to avoid peeling off during printing.
