3D model description

Sailor Moon is a manga series written and illustrated by Naoko Takeuchi in December 1991. The manga became particularly famous for its successful re-popularization of the magical girl subgenre, and its sentai elements made it popular. the acceptance was also massive among the male sector, generally less interested in this type of stories.

Initially, Naoko Takeuchi published the short story Codename wa Sailor V ("Codename Sailor V") in the Run-Run magazine of the same publisher. The story liked it so much that the proposal to make an anime series was immediately made. However, the author preferred to add more characters and a stronger plot. This is how the Bishōjo Senshi Sailor Moon series arose, a sequel to Codename wa Sailor V, which began to be published in parallel and ended up taking precedence over it (which finally became irregular and was even concluded after Sailor Moon). Surpassing Codename wa Sailor V in success, Bishōjo Senshi Sailor Moon jumped into anime almost simultaneously with its publication on paper in 1992. This first anime adaptation was dubbed into 42 languages (so far the anime with the largest number of dubbings known) and aired in around 80 countries. The series also had a good number of musicals, called Sera Myu, as well as a live action version called Pretty Guardian Sailor Moon, with 49 chapters and 6 video specials. In 2003 a deluxe reissue of the manga was published, in twelve tankōbon with new covers and certain graphic and dialogue tweaks.

Usagi Tsukino is an ordinary, lazy, somewhat clumsy, and whiny Japanese teenager whose life changes forever when she helps and finds a black cat with a crescent moon mark on her forehead, named "Luna", who reveals that she is destined to be. become a Sailor Senshi with magical powers who must face the forces of evil. With the help of a magical amulet, Usagi is able to transform into "Sailor Moon", a beautiful and generous warrior who defends the defenseless in the name of the moon.
