BL Howitzer 6 Inch Gun 1:35 Scale Model

Important: If you bought the Gun Carrier Mk 1 Model, you dont need to buy this model again, this is for people that just want the Howitzer model without having to also get the more expensive Gun Carrier

The Ordnance BL 6 inch 26cwt howitzer was a British howitzer used during World War I and World War II. The qualifier "26cwt" refers to the weight of the barrel and breech together which weighed 26 long hundredweight (1.3 t).

This model was created from scratch using Blender3D, Its divided into 6 pieces, and it can only be resin printed for best results

This model complements another one of my models, the british Gun Carrier Mk 1, being able to carry the gun inside of the model using the ramp in the front. The Gun Carrier Isnt included with this Model

The model measurements one printed are:

1:35 or 100% scale 154mm x 62mm x 47mm

1:48 or 73% scale 112mm x 45mm x 34mm

1:72 or 48.6% scale 75mm x 30mm x 23mm

For Sla Printing:

This mode has a lot of thin details, make sure you add a fair ammount of supports and angle the tracks so that theyre standing, then rotate to have the least amount of overhangs for better surface finish

make sure to hollow the model and add draining holes when needed, make sure to angle the parts in such a way that there are not flat parts, to decrease sagging on the model.
